It's normal to have questions.
This is a scary thing to do... find a stranger on the internet and pay them to take your nudies. It's not easy!
It takes patience, courage, strength, and a desire for more. A desire to push past your limits & fears.
So, naturally, you have lots of questions and I'm here to answer them!
That's why I've put together some answers to your most pressing questions, right here in this blog.
1. Who will see my photos?
That is entirely up to you. I never share any images, including your hair and makeup with the artist, unless YOU expressly give permission.
If you never want anyone to see your images or know you did this, you got it, only the 3 of us will ever know. Your privacy and boundaries are crucially important to me.
If you want to share them all, I'll share along with you & celebrate your beauty!
If you want to share them and then change your mind, you can withdraw your consent at any point for any reason.
Who sees your photos is entirely up to you, this is about you and your most vulnerable and intimate moments. The choice is yours and only yours!
2. How far in advance should I book?
The answer to this question changes depending on the time of year.
The entire summer and Christmas/Valentine's seasons book up quickly and are the busiest time of the year, so during this time you should leave as much time as possible to between your shoot and when you need your album in your hands.
During the busy seasons mentioned above, the best time to book is 2 months before you need/want your album. That leaves time for booking, preparing, shooting, payment plans, editing, design, production and shipping. The minimum timeframe we can do this in is 4-5 weeks, so book as soon as you can!
If you don't need your album back by a specific date, I sometimes even have availability within 2 weeks time! You can always see my availability right here! Don't see what you're after? Send me an email and I'll do my best to accommodate you!
In addition to my studio days in the calendar above, I have open days for in-home and outdoor sessions, so ask about those!
3. What if I don't know what to do?
Listen up: nobody knows what to do in front of a camera!
I'm telling you. You aren't awkward, weird, unphotogenic, or anything else you're telling yourself. Even photographers often forget what they know about posing when a camera is pointed at them (myself included) and the pressure is on.
That's why I'm here. I've studied the posing, the lighting, the angles, the body - I know what I'm doing and I'll be guiding you.
We start with "ice breaker poses" that are designed to get you feeling comfortable and confident super quickly without requiring a lot of facial expression or vulnerability. You'll be feeling so good after the first few minutes that we will gravitate toward the more daring poses and shed more layers!
I'll show you the pose first and then guide you into it from head to toe, including eyes, chin and facial expression.
5. How do you help a nervous client?
- Mimosas 🥂
- Chatting, laughing and getting to know each other while you get all glammed up
- Crazy, fun, loud energy (that's me!)
- Ice breaker poses - easy poses to start with that require minimum effort and produce maximum confidence
After the first few poses, every single client is feeling so much more relaxed, confident and comfortable and IT SHOWS. The beginning of your gallery is always beautiful, but you will see with your own eyes the transformation from nervous to EMPOWERED! I can't wait to show you 🥰
I hope this FAQ helped ease your nerves, and you are warming up to the idea of your very own boudoir shoot.
Your comfort during the session is my main priority. I’ll help you look and feel gorgeous through beautiful posing and lighting so that you get the album of your dreams!
I promise, you will look as good as everyone you see on my page, in your own authentic way.
