The Bedhead Studio...Barrie's newest studio.
This is probably the most exciting thing to happen to me and my business since…ever
Over the last couple years I have rented countless photography studios from other incredibly brave creatives that opened a space for us to enjoy
Collingwood, Barrie, Toronto, Etobicoke, Hamilton, Newmarket… you name it, driving all over the place, bringing all of my outfits, goodies, sample products, and more to each and every studio day (picture me struggling with 6 heavy bags, half of which have broken straps from weight of contents, and chugging along to my car after a 10 hour work day, a few times a month…)
It's been a lot.
Screw that, right?
It's been tough, but it’s also been full of inspiration — I get to see someone else’s creative space, turn it into my own expression and include my clients as a part of that creative process and experience
It’s also taught me exactly what YOU need from YOUR creative rental studio
From bright light, soft textures and private areas to props, lighting and freedom to be yourself

A Fairy Godmother...
The wonderful Kirsten of Captured by Kirsten and Studio 74 is a HUGE part of this project, and she deserves so much credit for supporting me as a brand of Studio 74 (my faveeee space). Kirsten & her studio are a staple of the Collingwood community, and everyone around knows her always-smiling-energy and top-notch creative photography.
Kirsten’s space was the first I had ever rented back in the Fall of 2020, and its because of her that I fell in love with creative spaces, boudoir and empowering women from the inside out
She is kind, knowledgable, determined, talented & so many other things that I really needed as a part of The Bedhead Studio.
So, naturally, we teamed TF up and put two creative heads together to bring you the space you've been dreaming of.
Isn't she ~literally~ a ray of sunshine?
Things are changing.
Now, it’s my turn, to provide you all with somewhere you can be safe
You can be yourself
You can be free
You can be creative, loud, excited, goofy, intimate…anything you want to be
You can self-portrait, record your tiktoks and reels, launch an instagram live

You can have faith that your next girls night, cozied up on the couch with a projector shining Mean Girls onto the walls will be so fetch, comfortable and a night you won’t forget!

PLUS — all of my clients get to use this space included in their Bedhead Boudoir Experience! As of January 4 2022 — all booked Bedhead Boudoir Sessions will take place in The Bedhead Studio.
New: Optional in-person gallery reveals for the most luxury we can offer you. Come back to the studio after your shoot & relive those moments through a completely immersive experience. Cozy up on the couch with me and your favourite bevvy while your un-seen gallery is projected onto the wall for a big-screen experience and more power & confidence than you could have imagined.
You will also get a personalized gallery wall with prints available for you to purchase right then & there. Why go home empty handed?
Zoom just can't do that, am I right orrrrrrrr am I right? 😌
So, what's the vibe?
Here's the unique energy you can expect from The Bedhead Studio, Creative Rental Studio for Photographers:
- A gorgeous wooden canopy bed with 7-foot-high posts, wrapped up in sheer curtains for an ethereal look. Oversized cozy blankets, boho throw pillows and accent blankets complete the bedroom set you never knew you needed.
- Music is important to me, so you will find a rustic grand piano awaiting you and your musical clients. Fully functional, gorgeous and sophisticated, play or photograph to your hearts desire. I've also personally installed a one-of-a-kind sheet music wall for the perfect romantic, vintage backdrop full of texture.
- Speaking of sophisticated, we've hand-crafted a vintage wooden bookcase filled with old ass books that make the perfect backdrop for the bookworm in your life or a powerful addition to those super serious portraits.
- A faux brick wall to texturize the background of any portrait, accompanied by an elegant chaise lounge to get cozy on
- Victorian, vintage & antique accents sprinkled throughout the 3 unique rooms
You'll also see some beautiful & familiar furniture items & props directly from our fave, Studio 74!
